As a judge, referee or competition manager to Leipzig!

Be there and support the International German Gymnastics Festival in organising fair and exciting competitions.

Without the commitment of these volunteers, competitions at the International German Gymnastics Festival cannot be conducted. Therefore, we appeal to all clubs to provide licensed referees or judges for all sports.

You can register here until February 28th 2025 to work as a judge, referee or competition manager:

Information on registration:

  • The instructions from the sports can be found in the official announcements.
  • Those judges and referees who wish to actively participate in the Turnfest and use other festival offers, in addition to their judging assignments, require the paid Participant Card for this purpose. These judges and referees must also be registered as participants via Turnfest-Portal by their club admin.
  • The further deployment of the judges and referees will be planned after the registration deadline by the respective representatives of the sports according to the registrations. We will contact you afterwards.
  • If you have any questions about registration, please email us at wettkampf@turnfest.de. 
  • The fields for emergency contact and telephone number do not have to be filled in during the registration process.

Further Information:

Requirements for working as a judge, referee or competition manager at the Turnfest:

  • Possession of a valid judge or referee licence in the respective sport (exception: competition manager, management of Join-in-activities)
  • Further instructions from the sports can be found in the official announcements.

 

Dates:

  • The competitions of the Turnfest Leipzig 2025 will take place from May 28th to June 1st 2025. (exception: Artistic Gymnastics German Youth Championships Men on May 27th 2025)

 

Advantages when working as a judge, referee or competition manager:

  • All judges will receive compensation for their work after the event.
